Balance Rehabilitation and Training

Nearly every year half of the population in the United States age 65 and over will experience a fall. Ninety percent of the 350,000 hip fractures occurring each year in the US are the result of a fall. Balance disorders can adversely affect a person’s ability to safely function from day-to-day. Our program is designed to benefit a wide spectrum of patients affected by vestibular disorders, peripheral neuropathies, neurogenic disease, dizziness related cervical dysfunction, high risk for falls, cerebral vascular accidents, dizziness, disequilibrium, and benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. This program utilizes multiple assessments to identify and treat specific balance disorders.
